First of all, with as many people that follow my blog I can't believe that I only had 1 comment on this posting from Saturday (at least I think it was Saturday, maybe it was Sunday). So I am going to post it again. If I get no takers then other than Cassie, then she will be the lucky recipient of something I feel is lovely and worthy enough to give to a friend.
I am taking part in the Pay It Forward movement that I saw over at Robin's blog. I have always loved the idea behind PIF's and have never had a chance to do one in the past.How this one works is quite simple. The first three people to sign up on this post will receive a surprise PIF sometime within the next 365 days. Then each of my three players will invite their own three players and so on. Doesn't that sound like fun?
Ok, so the first three to sign up (international welcome) will receive some Shelly's Stitchery goodness sometime this year. In return, you will make a post on your blog and offer the same thing to three of your blog readers. So, come on....who wants to be part of this great event?

Hey Shelly, so glad to see you blogging again. I was worried about how you were doing after receiving the baby news. I am a bit tired this evening so not really understanding the pay it forward. Do I make something to send to the three people I choose as a "just because" gift? And would these people be random bloggers to choose from? So sorry for the questions my friend, but it's been a long day and my brain is fried. I'm interested though. It's nice to give something "just because".

Carlotta, yes, this is something you give "just because" then either the first three (or the three you choose--however you word it) will put choose from their comments to send to. It can be anything you choose to send--chocolate, cookies, something made, etc. (at least that's what I understand!
Teresa, Melissa, and Carlotta--you three will join Cassie and you 4 will need to put the pay it forward button in your blog. Link them back to me (just as I did Robin's). Put the statement (you can copy/paste from my blog if you wish) about how your next 3 will be chosen and that they will then receive a gift sometime within the year. Teresa, Melissa and Carlotta, you need to email me your snail-mail addy so that I will have somewhere to send your "happy" to! I already have Cassie's. For whatever reason, even though on your blog it says I am following you, your blogs do not show up in my dashboard. I have to come check your site 2-3 times a week on my own because google doesn't track it for me... maybe I should stop following, then start again, would that fix it??
