My husband is on his way home from work (got off at 5, had to go back in at 10) and I am trying to keep my eyes open to wait up for him. Kids are tucked into bed and all is quiet...except for the dryer and that thing runs 24/7 around here. This week it has nearly seen it's death...my daughter has struggled with incontinence all her life and has been doing REALLY well but has digressed in the last couple of weeks. Took her to the doctor today thinking she might have a UTI although symptoms weren't the same as they usually are. No infection showed up but they are doing cultures this weekend and will let me know. Doc went on and wrote prescription for antibiotics so I will fill that and just go ahead and give it to her. Also gave her some meds for her sore throat and drainage. She is a PILL in the doctor's office and today was no exception. Getting a urine sample from that child was MADDENING. Told the nurse it was gonna be a hard liquor night in my household. lol Good thing they know me or they might have turned me in. ;)
We ended up watching "Meet the Robinsons"...if you have not seen it, DO! It was too cute and the kids loved it (so did the adults). Almost rented "Surf's Up" and now I am glad I didn't. Have seen Ratatouille (sp??) and we all loved that one! I grilled the kid's favorite (steak) and we all enjoyed our picnic. :)
Tomorrow I am headed to Tuscaloosa to Target! A friend asked me to go with her and of course, I jumped at the chance. :) My husband is having a father/daughter day with our daughter and I am taking my son to his Pop's for the day. Then we have a Fall Festival party to attend tomorrow night so I am sure we will be in dire need of that extra hour of sleep this weekend.
Better run...am sure will blog again soon. :) I agree with you, this is my most favorite out of all the things we did for the class. Cool how you can form friendships with people you have never even "met".Jewelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12111303963391129983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-528624333387134031.post-81800068271769770772007-11-01T22:03:00.000-05:002007-11-01T22:03:00.000-05:00Here's to being overly busy and "out of it"...didn...Here's to being overly busy and "out of it"...didn't even know it was All Saint's Day...or if I did, I completely forgot.
